Established in 1996 we specialize in the installation and repair of all power line construction, vegetation management and telecommunication industry vehicle mounted equipment, including aerial devices, digger derricks and cranes.

Our president and general manager, Duane Moser has over 35 years experience in the field; he started his career at King Truck Engineering as an apprentice heavy duty mechanic and worked his way up to service manager until it closed its doors in 1984. Duane continued in this specialized field culminating in the opening of Western in 1996.

Our service manager Danny Gundersen was added to Western's management team because of his extensive background in the field of hydraulics. Danny has over 35 years experience in hydraulics and is a machinist by trade. He leads a team of heavy duty and automotive mechanics, welders & machinists all specially trained in hydraulics and the rebuild and repair of such systems.

Barney Gelinas from Calgary Fleet Outfitters and Supply heads up our "Van & Truck Conversion" department, anything that you can imagine your mobile workstation needs, he can provide you with. Call him for your shelving and storage needs.

Over 10 years we have built solid relationships with the major power companies and power line construction companies in Western Canada. In addition to power, we deal with some of the largest cable and telecommunication corporations in Canada. Our expertise extends to the professional arborists, where we supply goods and services to some of the largest arborists in the world.

In 2007 we extended our knowledge into the outfitting of lineman and arborists and Western Lineman Superstore was born. We look for and supply only the best in tools and safety equipment specifically for use by utility lineman and professional arborists. All designed to help you to do your job right!
